On the Road With Kerri: Dallasites - Set Your DVRs to Record

My broadway star cousin, Kerri Brackin, has finally made her way to Dallas! To say I'm excited is such an understatement!!

I got to see the show in St. Louis about a month ago and now I'm getting to see it more than three times in a span of two weeks. It is truly fantastic!! The cast is incredible.

Set your DVR to record Good Morning Texas on Wednesday morning. The show is on ABC (channel 8) at 9:00 a.m.

Also, if you want to go see Avenue Q at the new AT&T Performing Arts Center's Winspear Opera House in Dallas, click here to find tickets. They are here until June 6th.

About the show:
AVENUE Q is Broadway's smash-hit 2004 Tony Award® winner for BEST MUSICAL, BEST SCORE and BEST BOOK. A hilarious show full of heart and hummable tunes, AVENUE Q is about trying to make it in New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account. AVENUE Q features a cast of people and puppets who tell the story in a smart, risque and downright entertaining way.

Entertainment Weekly raves, "One of the FUNNIEST shows you're ever likely to see."

Which, may I please add is so true: One of the cast members said she could hear my laugh a.k.a. cackle from behind the set! ha!

And one of many rave reviews for Kerri (this one from Steady Style Chicago in their May Theatre Review):

"A special word for the beautiful and versatile Kerri Brackin" ... "[her] smile practically lights up the stage and [her] skills in puppetry keep a number of plates and puppets spinning simultaneously. Brackin is a real standout here..."
