Idol Picks and List of Favorites

After last night, there is no question about two people from the last group who will make it to the top 12:

Scott MacIntyre (LOVE him and LOVED Mandolin Rain!!!)


Lil Rounds (who doesn't LOVE Lil!?)


I truly have NO idea who the 3rd person is going to be! It could be anyone from Von to Felisha to Ju'not to Jorge. If I had to pick, I would say Felisha.


Is anyone else going to completely quit watching the show if Nathaniel makes it to the top 12!? He is so annoying!


Now for my favorites so far this season:

Adam Lambert
By far my absolute favorite...don't know what it is, but I LOVE him!!! I love his look...don't change a thing Adam!


Scott MacIntyre
He is precious! I loved seeing him sing and play the piano. I hope he goes far!


Anoop Desai
Who doesn't LOVE Anoop! He rocks!


Danny Gokey
Seems so sweet and is very talented...a very likeable guy. I think he'll go far.


Allison Iraheta
Not just because she has the same name as me! She is truly incredible! I'm was SO impressed with her awesome song choice - Heart's "Alone". She rocked it!


Kristen MacNamara
Not just because she has the same name as one of my favorite cousins! I think she's good! And I'm SO glad she got rid of her pink hair! I see why the judges are wishy washy on her, but for some reason she is one of my favorites though I'm not sure exactly why. Maybe because she's a karaoke hostess and that is on my short list of dream jobs???


Michael Sarver
I don't want to like him just because I feel sorry for him and think he's a sweet family man and wish he could stop working the oil rigs and make money from singing (and because he's from Texas)...but that's why. And probably not good enough reasons...


This is the first season of American Idol where I've truly been a dedicated watcher. Mostly because this is the first season I've owned a DVR. But obviously, I've jumped on the bandwagon! Yay for American Idol. :)

How desperate can you be, Molly!!??!?

Apparently, she's VERY desperate!

After watching Jason propose to Melissa during "one of the most dramatic Bachelor moments ever", how could Molly decide she wanted to be with Jason so quickly?


Personally, I don't know. I mean, all it took her was one commercial break to decide?!?! And all in the name of love? That is not LOVE. Jason does not even know what love is! Don't even get me started on this topic! He has quickly become one of the most disappointing bachelors of all time in my mind.


And when you think about it, all these girls have spent the entire bachelor "journey" trying to prove themselves to Jason and how they are worthy of him...but really, what is there to be worthy of? Jason's not said or done one thing that has impressed me all season. It seems everyone is so impressed because he loves his kid so much and that is phenomenal, but I'm not so sure about his character.

Anyway - major disappointment on top of the fact that we all already knew this was going to happen because of the rumors flying around. All I have to say is I'm glad I opted to watch 24 first and then speed through The Bachelor Finale and After the Final Rose.


But I cannot end this incredibly negative (sorry!!) blog post without giving a shout out to Melissa! Girl - good job standing up for yourself and telling Jason off! Melissa expressed that she was so sad that Jason took away the sacredness of an engagement and proposal for her since she only wanted it to happen once in her life. I really feel for her on this point.

On a positive note, I think the 2 hour 24 special on Monday night was TRULY "one of the most dramatic moments in 24 history"!! Take that ABC!!!




Now for the big question...am I done watching The Bachelor?? Absolutely not! Keep 'em coming! (Don't worry - I realize this is so pathetic!) I just needed to a place to vent, but still don't know what I'd do without my Bachelor Mondays.

P.S. Did anyone else feel like they were watching Jerry Springer last night?!
